In February of 2024, Sherman was stopped by law enforcement in Bellevue, Washington for speeding 79 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone.

Sherman apparently admitted to consuming two margaritas.

Sherman did not realize that his best move was to tell the Officer “I want a Lawyer” and then to keep his mouth closed.

Any help you give law enforcement to prosecute you will not be appreciated and will not make your case better.

Sherman apparently engaged in a voluntary test that could not help but only hurt him.

Police noted that Sherman’s eyes were bloodshot and watery, not an unusual condition for someone driving at 2 a.m.

Everything you say and do will be used against you by the Government.

Hockey Legend Neal Broten gets 3rd DUI

Neal Broten is a retired American professional ice hockey player. Broten is perhaps best known for being on the 1980 United States Olympic Hockey team that won the 1980 Lake Placid gold medal. This amazing game is called the Miracle on Ice.

Broten was placed in the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000; he played in almost 1,100 regular season games from 1981 to 1997. He played for the Minnesota North Stars, the Dallas Stars, the New Jersey Devils and the Los Angeles Kings.

Broten has won everywhere he has played. His University of Minnesota team won the 1979 NCAA championship. His Team USA won the 1980 Olympic gold. His New Jersey Devils won the Stanley Cup in 1995. Broten is the only player in history to have won the Hobey Baker, the Olympic Gold medal and the Stanley Cup.

In April of 2018, Broten was arrested for driving under the influence in Pierce County, Wisconsin. Broten was stopped for a rolling stop at a traffic control sign. The Deputy smelled alcohol coming from Broten and launched into a DUI Investigation. Broten, like most people older than 25 failed the Deputy’s roadside gymnastics and was arrested for DUI. Most people do not realize that they have almost no chance of passing these tests sober. Because he provided probable cause to be arrested, Broten was subjected to a blood draw to determine the blood alcohol content of his blood.

Former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? host charged with Drink Driving:  Tarrant was stopped on suspicion of drink driving as he was returning home for a local pub.  Tarrant has made enemies in his community over contested extensions to his home or mansion.  The concern is that his home is becoming an eyesore in a community that values its beautiful appearance.  Tarrant’s first court appearance was on December 18, 2017.  The press did not explain whether Tarrant was subjected to the roadside agility tests.  According to the original validation studies, no one over 60 years of age was a candidate for these tests designed for failure.  Even the subsequent change to 65 years as the cutoff would leave the 71 year old Tarrant not a candidate for such testing.
